LIVING IN CRAY CRAY TIMES

LIVING IN CRAY CRAY TIMES

Messy. Challenging. Often Dangerous. Diverse. Opinionated. Manipulative—the tic tok of time is slipping away. The fourth and other worldly dimension, the supernatural, is also on the list of indicators pointing to the final days that precede Jesus’s return. As exciting as these days are for some, they are unsettling for many.

The times, they are as changing as the seasons. God made both time and seasons for man. Time which has an expiration date and four seasons. Man made the flu and allergy seasons as well as what some call wicked weather seasons. God gave us the authority over storms. We can say no to them like Jesus did.

Although not one of the four, we do seem to be traveling through a crazy season in the earth marked by God’s Biblical timeframe. AI wants to take over the job man’s brain has held since our beginning. Man and machine threaten to merge. Food and human genes are genetically modified. The powers that be are manipulating our money system and the food supply to bring genetically modified food organisms into the human body.

It’s chaos. Cray Cray—a shortened slang for crazy crazy, presents specifics of the days Jesus spoke about and brings the times in which we live into perspective (Matthew 24, Luke 21 plus many more).

We’re in a dimension where good is called evil and evil is called good (Isaiah 5:20).  Danger lurks in classrooms, schoolyards and the marketplace. Like landmines concealed and camouflaged, deception creeps around every corner. People are confused and say bewitched things like, “The Bible is outdated. It’s a historical document and unreliable. God needs to get with the twenty-first century. He needs to embrace an enlightened, modern-day breed of people.”

Saaaay whaaaat?

LOVING TRUTH

Have you heard anyone say, “They’re after your children.” How about, “We’re coming for your children.” Theyare not hiding their agenda. This day as with every other, knowing, practicing and having a love for God’s Truth is critical. Deceived, those who refuse to believe and do not love the Truth won’t fare well. They will live in their own world of lies, deceptions and illusions (1 Thessalonians 2:10-12).

Holy Spirit warned us about these days. Not to scare or frighten us, but to prepare us. The spiritual realm that has always existed has become more active. They have more to work with and they know their time is short. They won’t go down without a fight. They are hell bent on winning battles and taking captives. They know the only way they can stop the Church is to discredit the Word of God and prevent it from working in our lives. That’s what they are attempting to do. And they want your children.

But the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. They’re not man made. They’re not of this world but mighty through God to demolish the devil’s strongholds of lies and deception. This is a spiritual battle and God has given us very powerful spiritual weapons (2 Corinthians 10:4).

While those of the world who reject God’s Truth go Cray Cray, God’s people can be safe and secure by putting our trust and confidence in Him and in His Word of Truth. God’s kids are to take God at His Word for their lives and loved ones while here on the earth, not just for when the spirit leaves the body. Everyone lives in eternity now. It’s the measurement of time that will cease.

By faith we must take God at His Word if we want to see His supernatural provision in our lives. We must know His Truth and apply it. Like the Israelites—when on their way out—applied the blood of the symbolic Passover lamb over their doorposts (Exodus 12:7). Everyone who heard the Word of God and did what God said by faith, all was well for them. That’s what it’s all about. Hearing and doing what God says. But when the Israelites refused to take God at His Word, they failed to receive the Promised Land (Hebrews 3:15-19).

The devil understands this. He understands the power in the Word of God. That’s why he wants to discredit both God and His Word. Through lies and rhetoric the devil’s agenda is to fill the earth with confusion and darkness (1 Corinthians 14:33). God’s agenda is to bring light and set people free. Thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord we have been rescued from the kingdom darkness (Colossians 1:13-14). Let’s stay free.

Satan knows his fate. He’ll be cast into the hell that was made for him and all the other fallen angels. Hell was never made for mankind. Man, as an act of his God-given free will chooses that destination by rejecting Jesus, the Lamb of God (John 3:16).

LUCIFER

This is what happened. Before iniquity was found in him, the one we now know as Satan, aka the devil, God created him and named him Lucifer. God did not create the devil. He created a beautiful angelic being. Lucifer was created good. But he turned against God and sealed his fate. For it is written in Isaiah 14:12-14:

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”

Jesus said He watched Satan as lightening fall from heaven (Luke 10:18). Lightening is fast. Originally, Lucifer had a place in heaven. But with a Word, the Lord God cast him down and out. His fall was swift and public. Jesus then defeated him at the cross on our behalf. Jesus’s victory over death and the enemy revealed His supremacy and authority over Satan.

Satan now has limited access to heaven. But the day is fast approaching when he’ll be barred from heaven (Revelation 12:9). Look closely to what is written next. We see that Satan understands the creative power of words.

For thou hast said in thine heart…”

Satan knows how God works. With understanding he listened as God created the world and all it contains with words (Genesis 1). He had eyes to see as he watched God create mankind (Psalm 8:4-6). God tells us in His Word that from the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45). The way things get into our heart is by speaking them with our tongue. These are the words Lucifer spoke:

“I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”

Lucifer wanted to be God. He wanted the ability to create. He wanted control and power. He wanted the worship that belonged to Father God. He wanted to replace the Lord our God with himself.

THE CLASH OF KINGDOMS

Satan was ambitious in the dateless past and he’s ambitious today. His words clashed with what God said.

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart” (Deuteronomy 6:4-6).

God never changes. His words stood firm with Israel, they were before Israel existed and His Word stands today. God wants His Words in our hearts.

Satan put his own words and agenda in his heart. He confronted the God who not only created the cosmos, but Who had also created him. Lucifer was a powerful angelic being, yet God had no tolerance for him speaking against His Word.

Although Lucifer was belligerent and antagonistic as he confronted God, God simply said, Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit” (Isaiah 14:15).

“Yet…” God was unimpressed with what Satan had to say.

Knowing that God creates worlds with words, I’ve wondered if this may be when Hell was created.

“Yet…” So simple. So unnerved. So not moved. Just a straightforward matter of fact, “Yet…” Don’t you just love it!

NO FEAR

Jesus has power over Satan and He gave us, God’s kids His power and authority so that we will win every spiritual battle and prevail against the forces of evil (Luke 10:19). With Holy Spirit, our angels and our spiritual weapons, we have no need to fear (1 John 4:4).

Father God is our example. He tells us in the Bible how to live victorious lives in these last days. It’s our choice. We can do things God’s way. We can follow in the steps of Jesus and speak God’s Word (John 12:49-50). What we don’t have to do is go along with Cray Cray.
